Did you know the Bible says this?

Love:

Matthew: 22: 37-40 Jesus said to him, “ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (38) This is the first and great commandment.  (39) And the second is like it:  You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (40) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Generosity To The Poor:

Duet: 15: 7-11:  If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand form your poor brother, (8) but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever he needs. (9) Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, “The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,” and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the Lord against you, and it become sin among you.  (10) You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. (11) For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, “You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.”

6 Things The Lord Hates:

Proverbs 6: 16-19:

16. The six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

17. A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,

18. A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,

19. A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

Consider others:

Luke 6:31:   And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

Sins of Sodom:

Ezekiel 16:49-50:  Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom:  She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.  (50) They were haughty and did detestable things before me.  Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

Did Jesus drink?

Matthew 11:18-19:  For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ”He has a demon.”  (19) The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, “Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!”  But wisdom is justified by her children.

Jesus on eunuchs:

Matthew 19:11-12:  But he said to them, “All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: (12) For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake.  He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.”
